Hey. So, leafing through comments, first one was the obvious that I noted (BM over WS). While I understand updates probably aren't released at the same rate, I have BM on Steam, and haven't seen any major updates there since May '23. So, a while. There's also menu options available, that have no reason being there since they won't work til the game is finished in it's entirety, apparently. While I understand these things take time, and your game has some absolutely fantastic images, it's still a big gap. Since v0.8.0 was April '23 and v0.8.5 was May '23, and it's now April of the following year with nothing new added to my knowledge.
Which brings me to WS. Needs editing for typos, and proper marking of who is speaking in some areas. Agreeing with another comment, it's far more of a fun game. Mostly lighthearted, doesn't take itself too seriously, but still doesn't conform to everything else and is fairly original. I think it would do well with an update, and that cliffhanger was...tense (honestly more wondering about the sandwich from Lil than the girl, since I guessed the who-but-not-when of the situation when I first saw the lab).
This isn't a criticism, but more of a "more updates needed regularly", and on both games, not just one.
Even though this was released more recently, and it's a side-gig, I enjoy it far more.
Thanks a lot for this comment, yes, WS is a bit rough around the edges, but that's because I don't spend as much time to flesh things out, and double check everything, like I do in BM. It's also a bit of a fun ride for myself when I work on it, I can integrate all the crazy, and sometimes even stupid ideas, that I'd never use for BM.
I agree, updates are slow, but that comes with being a single developer. I have a lot of stuff going on in real life, I have a wife that wants attention, a house that needs renovation, etc.. In short, I'm pretty busy, and can't spend as much time as I want to on development anymore, but I'm still working on bith games regularly.
Newish fan, but very impressed. Just wanted to share that I liked bad memories so much that when I started playing weird shit, the 3 main theme songs were very immersion breaking for me, so I converted the 3 main themes from your other game from mp3 to ogg vorbis, and then replaced them over the vanilla ones because they're just so much more smooth in transition, now it feels like a different game, more like a continuation of the last title. Just thought I'd share! Keep up the good work!!! Can't wait for updates. -JS
On another note, there are several scenes when you leave the hotel that have absolutely no sound at all, maybe when you get around to updates you might add music or ambient sounds to the other world? Thx!

both games are great, but i seriously like this game more. its more 'fun'. lighthearted without being slapstick. and the story is simply unique. WS is wifey, BM is the side chick ;)

There is no android version from my side, but you can check on f95zone, someone made an unofficial one over there (but of course I can't guarantee that it works).
The dev alternates between updates for this game and his other one. They released an update for their other game recently and are currently working on the update for this one.

Tainted Heritage is such an amazing VN as well and I with what I imagine a great number of others would love it if and when you can, give a little information on what your plans for the future of Tainted Heritage will be. I thank you for your hard work and creativity in these VN's and hope that things continue to get even better for you in your life.
sorry i shouldve been more clear, i meant the contents of the the unzipped folder which downloads as game.7z; wasnt sure if the contents of that needed to go into the game folder as separate pieces or all bundled up inside of a folder

When will you be adding a "Gallery" option to the menu to rewatch scenes you've already unlocked? Feels like the one thing missing from this game.

With the most recent update. I'm getting this error when trying to run the program in Joiplay.

the content of the unzipped "game" folder, goes into the game's "game" folder. Overwrite when asked ;)
